Auditorium of the California NanoSystems Institute, UCLA

The UCLA Specialized Program of Research Excellence (SPORE) in Prostate Cancer will host a public research symposium at the UCLA Auditorium of the California NanoSystems Institute (CNSI) Auditorium on Monday, September 08, 2014, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. The symposium will focus on the most pressing and challenging issues in prostate cancer research, addressing topics that range from the molecular mechanisms that underlie the disease to various translational approaches. Translational research aims at applying discoveries generated during research in the laboratory, and in preclinical studies, to the development of trials and studies in humans. The Symposium is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
